Judaism and Environmentalism

January 27th is the festival of Tu B’Shevat – the New Year of the Trees!  To celebrate Judaism’s deep roots with environmentalism, we will begin our six week mini-course on Jewish environmental perspectives.  Together we will look at Jewish attitudes towards conservation, restoration, and different philosophical perspectives and theologies concerning our relationship to the world around us.
