Volunteers:

We need volunteers to work before, during and after the carnival.
Adults and students grade 7 and up are invited to volunteer.

We also need donations of food items, carnival sponsorships and goodies for the Cake Walk.  Contact Star Laddon at star@teesd.org or call (619) 286-3096 to sign up or for more information.

Families asking for Camperships are required to bake Hamantashen at least one baking session and SELL (not buy) at least 10 dozen hamantashen and work a minimum of 6 hours for the carnival.  Parents that need to stay with their children during the carnival can fulfill their 6 hours of volunteer time by helping set up the evening before and by helping clean up after the carnival.

“Camp is life, the rest is just details”  With this sentiment in mind, and inspired by the memories of Phil and Alice Cohn who believed strongly in the Jewish community and our Jewish future, we are thrilled to announce that the Phil and Alice Cohn Youth Scholarship Fund will be providing a matching grant this year for all campership funds raised up to $10,000.  Words cannot begin to express our profound gratitude for this incredible generosity and partnership as we all work together to enable our Temple Emanu-El youth to deepen their connections to Judaism and the Jewish community.  Now it is up to us to bake our hearts out and purchase Hamentashen with abandon, to celebrate at the carnival and the shpiel so that together, we can help every camper.
