The news surrounding the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas/Hezbollah/Iran changes daily. Join us on Sunday, September 29th at 5 pm dinner, followed by a discussion at 6 pm about the current state of affairs with our former Scholar-in-Residence, incredible friend and resource, Yisrael Klitsner. Having previously served as the Diaspora Affairs Advisor for former Prime Minister, Naftali Bennet, and having completed his reserve tour of duty in Gaza, Yisrael continues to be a source of incredible inside information, thoughtful and accurate reflections on life in Israel, and a reliable source of information and contemplations on what is to come. Currently Yisrael is working towards his completion of a master’s degree in public policy from Carnegie Mellon University as well as serving in an advisory capacity to a number of Israeli organizations and government officials. We hope you’ll join us for this incredible opportunity to hear the most up-to-date information and reflections from the ground in Israel. There is no cost to attend the discussion, but there is a cost of $10 per person for dinner. Please sign-up HERE. In addition, if you are interested in helping underwrite the event, please contact Temple Executive Director, Shaun Copans.
