Marking October 7th

Marking October 7th: We warmly invite you to join us as we gather as a community to mark two years since the October 7, 2023 attacks. Together, we will honor the memory of the lives lost and pay tribute to the remarkable strength and resilience of the Israeli people.

This will be a meaningful evening for our San Diego Jewish community to stand united in remembrance, in solidarity, and in hope for the future.

Featured Artist: Project Heroes, a non-profit initiative, was created to change the Jewish narrative from victimhood to heroism, developing a greater sense of Jewish pride: from the days of Abraham to our contemporary heroes who sacrificed their lives to save others on October 7th.

Location: The Sound at the Del Mar Fairgrounds – 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, CA

Cost: Attendance is Free. A donation of $18 is suggested and will help offset the cost of the event.

Registration is required. This is a primarily standing event; limited seating will be available for those who need it. Register HERE.

Parking: $20 per vehicle

Age requirement: For all ages shows, guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult over 25 with written authorization. Every attendee, regardless of age, must have registered to enter. The venue does not recommend bringing very young children. Guests under 7 must have appropriate hearing protection. Infant changing facilities are not available.
