Pack a lunch and talk together about Jewish prospective on 21st Century challenges. Each week, wrestle with challenges within us and beyond us, discussing varied topics like: is moral justice at the core of humanity; choosing between good and evil; a look at Queer Jewish theology; was the world created for my sake; beyond the beginning and end of life; can A.I. develop a soul; and tensions between the good and the perfect.\
Required text: “Striving to Be Human: Jewish Perspectives on Twenty-First-Century Challenges” by Rabbi Leah Cohen Tenenbaum and Rabbi Douglas Kohn (CCAR Press) is available in hard copy and on Kindle.
