Rosh Chodesh
Renee Zoffel, Chair
Rosh Chodesh is a chance for women to get together with old friends and to make new ones by participating in the ancient Jewish custom of celebrating the new moon each month.
The tradition of Jewish women getting together on Rosh Chodesh is an ancient one that the women of Temple Emanu-El have chosen to carry on. This is a great way to take some time for ourselves and to recharge our own energy. Best of all, this is a great way to get to know other wonderful women in our Temple.
Next Gathering:
Wednesday, June 17
6:30 – 8 pm
We will learn about the upcoming month of Tamuz, connect with each other and grow spiritually as we make this learning our own. This may include songs, short prayers, a brief meditation, discussions, plenty of shmoozing, sharing treats and, of course, fun. All women are invited to this monthly gathering. There is no charge to attend: RSVP HERE.
